This year I decided to try something new for discussing classroom rules. Instead of calling my classroom exepectations "rules," I thought I would call then classroom responsibilities. I started out each class discussing what the responsibilities are for all students. But I didn't stop there, I also discussed how I, as a teacher, have classroom responsibilities as well. As always, we practiced and learned these responsibilites while doing movement activities!!!! I feel this year is going to be a great year. Fairview students are best by far. Fairview students are superstars!!!!!  Remember KEEP MOVING!!!!!

New School Year!!!!

Welcome back for another year of learning!!!
Welcome to the beginning of a new school year-a great time to emphasize the importance of physical activity in your child's education which is vital to his or her health, wellness, and academic success!!!!  Children should accumulate 60 minutes of physical activity per day. This year I will be continuing my Fairview Physical Education Web Site!!  Throughout the 2009/2010 school year, I will be posting what is being covered in your child's Physical Education class.  I will also be posting the monthly Physical Activity Newsletter, as well as, the monthy fitness calendar online at Fairview's web page. It is listed under my name in the meet the staff heading. It's Fairview's way of going green and helping our planet!! Make sure to visit often as I will constantly be adding new material to the site throughout the school year!! KEEP MOVING!!!
