2013 WHPE Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year!
This isn't very easy to do, but several colleagues convinced me of the advocacy benefits. I am going to toot my own horn. To put Physical Education into the spotlight. Healthy students are absolutely better learners. I feel that this award is a great honor, not just for me, but also for my school, Fairview, and my school district, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS)!!! I would first like to thank Brett for nominating me, for my fantastic and wonderful students for allowing me to teach them everyday, to the many different staff member's throughout my career that have taught me how to be a true professional, and to WHPE for honoring me with this awesome award!!
